Meet Dr. Allison Willkom, DPM
Dr. Willkom is a board-certified podiatrist serving the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, providing expert foot and ankle care for patients of all ages. A California native and former Division I athlete, she earned her degree from Duke University and graduated valedictorian from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. She completed a rigorous surgical residency at Legacy Health in Portland, Oregon, where she served as Chief Resident and trained extensively in foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, trauma care, and sports medicine.
Dr. Willkom combines advanced training with state-of-the-art technology, including digital imaging and 3D foot scanning, to diagnose and treat conditions like plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel pain, ingrown toenails, ankle injuries, and diabetic foot complications. Her approach emphasizes patient education, conservative treatment when appropriate, and personalized care plans designed to restore mobility and relieve pain.
Practicing in Minnesota since 2019, Dr. Willkom is passionate about helping patients stay active and pain-free. Outside of work, she enjoys running, CrossFit, and spending time with her husband and three children.
